What is Alongside?
Alongside is a family care coordination app. It brings medicines, shared tasks, appointments, schedules and care updates into one Care Circle, so everyone can see what needs to happen and who is helping.
Who is Alongside for?
Alongside is for anyone coordinating care for a parent, grandparent, partner, child, sibling, relative or friend. Families can use it for ongoing support, chronic illness, recovery after surgery or any situation where several people share care.
Can several family members or caregivers use Alongside together?
Yes. Invite people as caregivers or viewers. Caregivers can help manage and complete care, while viewers can stay informed. Free supports three active members per Care Circle and Plus supports ten, including the organizer.
Can I manage care for more than one person?
Yes, with Alongside Plus. Free includes one active recipient in one Care Circle you own. Plus supports up to three active recipients in each of up to three Care Circles you own.
Is Alongside a medicine reminder app?
Medicine schedules and reminders are part of Alongside, but the app is built for broader family care coordination. It also organizes shared tasks, appointments, notes, activity history and Handoff summaries.
Is Alongside medical software?
No. Alongside organizes information your family enters. It does not diagnose conditions, check prescriptions, give medical advice or replace a healthcare professional or emergency service.
Is Alongside available for iPhone and Android?
Alongside is available on iPhone. Android support is built, and the Google Play listing will be linked here when it is publicly available.
Is Alongside free?
Yes. Alongside Free includes the core care tools within its plan limits. Plus gives organizers more room for Care Circles, recipients and active members.
